Practice Description:
Brian A. Haskel, a leader of the firm's Corporate and Securities practice group, is a highly experienced and creative corporate attorney, with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and counseling on general corporate matters. Brian has represented bidders and target companies in connection with public and private acquisitions and dispositions. In addition, Brian has represented both issuers and underwriters in private placements and public offerings of debt and equity securities, creditors and debtors in connection with reorganizations, debt restructurings and workouts, and private equity and hedge fund sponsors and investors.
In addition to his corporate practice, Brian is also active in the firm's Art Law practice group, and represents clients in a wide variety of commercial art transactions as well as the structuring and formation of art investment funds.
Brian has been selected for inclusion in
New York Super Lawyers for 2008 and 2009.
