Mr. Liberman is an attorney in the Corporate & Securities practice group. Mr. Liberman has extensive experience in representing private and public companies in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, dispositions, asset securitization, structured finance, technology, venture capital investments, licensing and employment matters.  Mr. Liberman regularly serves as outside general counsel to corporate clients, overseeing corporate governance, providing ongoing legal analysis of corporate opportunities, and drafting and negotiating licenses, employment agreements, joint ventures agreements, stock purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and loan agreements.  Mr. Liberman has sought to maintain an international focus to his practice and has worked on numerous cross border transactions involving corporations from, or dealing with the markets of, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, India, Canada, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Egypt, Turkey, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Japan, Thailand, China, Puerto Rico and Curacao.

Mr. Liberman is also a member of the firm's Art Law practice group and regularly represents clients in a wide variety of commercial art transactions, including consignments, exhibitions and purchases and sales and financings of fine art. In particular, Mr. Liberman has significant expertise in the formation and governance of art investment funds, and counsels clients on matters ranging from the structuring of such funds to the various regulatory and compliance issues arising from their operation.

Mr. Liberman received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1999, and his B.A. in International Relations with honors and distinction from Stanford University in 1996, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Firestone Medal.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Liberman was a corporate associate at Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells, LLP.  Mr. Liberman was also General Counsel & Vice-President of Egyptinfo Technology S.A.E., a prominent Egyptian information technology company.  He is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Liberman has been certified in credit risks and financial calculus by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Argentina. He currently serves as the Americas Region Director of the Institute of Corporate & Technology Law of Egypt and as a member of the Board of Advisors of The Egyptian Society for Developing Legal, Environmental and Technological Knowledge.
