Lawrence Urman is Counsel in the firm's Corporate, Capital Formation and Securities Law Department.  Larry's legal experience is enhanced by his business experience.  Immediately prior to joining the firm, Larry was Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of private partnerships that acquired and operated franchised automotive related businesses.  He was responsible for all policy, operational and strategy decisions and oversaw all legal related matters for the entities.

Prior to his career in business, Larry was a partner in the corporate group of Demov, Morris & Hammerling, a New York law firm, where he represented NYSE, NASDAQ and privately held clients.  Larry has represented clients in connection with a broad range of general corporate matters, including asset based lending transactions, asset and stock acquisitions, joint ventures and equity syndication of tax advantaged and conventional partnerships. Larry also has represented both start up and established franchisors and franchisees in a wide variety of industries.  Other significant practice areas include equipment leasing and general corporate and partnership matters.
