Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP (THSH) advised Greenhaven Commodity Services, LLC and Greenhaven Continuous Commodity Index Fund in the registration and listing of its shares on the American Stock Exchange, LLC (AMEX), under the symbol GCC, on January 24, 2008. GCC is an exchange traded fund that is intended to track the performance of the Continuous Commodity Total Return Index, which is an equal weighted basked of 17 commodities (corn, wheat, soybeans, live cattle, lean hogs, gold, platinum, silver, copper, cocoa, coffee, sugar, cotton, orange juice, crude oil, heating oil and natural gas), that is owned and calculated by Reuters America, LLC. The THSH team was led by Barry E. Breen and consisted of David Schulder, Michele Gibbs, James Rieger, Jonathan Golub, Christina Zervoudakis and Sandra Ezri. Michael Tannenbaum, head of the Financial Services Group, said in congratulating Barry and his team: "This again illustrates the law firm’s ability to meet the changing needs of our clients as they develop products that are more and more innovative.
